  • $29.5 million settlement in which Jim represented 10 plaintiffs in the infamous Pier 34 collapse.
  • $3.5 million verdict in Martellacci v. Frankford Hospital for the death of an infant (Top 50 verdicts in Pennsylvania for 2004).
  • $3.125 million verdict in Moyer v. Siepser, M.D. for compromised sight in one eye.
  • $3 million verdict in Morganti v. Harman, D.O. for the failure to diagnose lung cancer resulting in death (Top 50 verdicts in Pennsylvania for 2008).
  •  $2.4 million settlement after eight days of trial for failure to diagnose liver cancer resulting in death.
  •  $1.88 million verdict in Golden v. Wayne Memorial Hospital, et al. for the failure to diagnose bladder cancer, resulting in death. In addition to the verdict, one named defendant settled its claim for $2 million.
  • $1.5 million settlement for failure to diagnose stroke, resulting in death.
  • $1.45 million verdict in Harrigan v. Bayhealth Medical Center, et al. for the failure to diagnose and treat a perforated bowel resulting in death. (One of the top 50 verdicts in the State of Delaware in 2007).
  • $1.325 million settlement for partial loss of sight for failure to diagnose occipital lobe stroke.
  • $1.25 million verdict in Kober v. Ghayad, M.D. for the loss of a kidney.
  • $1.2 million settlement for spinal cord injury.
  • $1.2 million dollar settlement for failure to diagnose coronary artery disease resulting in heart attack.
  • $1 million verdict in Govin v. Sugarman, M.D. for a spinal cord injury (State of Delaware).
  • $1 million settlement for failure to diagnose an bowel leak following colon surgery.
  • $850,000 verdict in Muhlbauer v. Salvo, M.D. for damage to ulnar nerve during surgery.
  • $1 million settlement for failure to diagnose breast cancer.
  • $900,000 settlement for the loss of kidney as a result of improper removal of kidney stone.
  • $850,000 settlement for improper placement of dental implants.
